Saturday in DC...

Spent Sat in DC riding the metro, visiting the Smithsonian (Air and Space/Natural History museum) and going to a DC United/NY Red Bulls soccer game... Lots of fun!!!

vacation started

we had our july 4th party last night and watched the fireworks, i'll get the pics loaded when i get back to richmond, at my parents tonight and shooting fireworks again, you can see liam above at my parents :)

Wizard of OZ in CVille

 

Went to see the Wizard of Oz on the big screen at the Paramount on the downtown mall in Charlottesville. Isabel and Evans gave Liam a gift of sunglasses... obviously from the CVS Elton John collection :)

Liam and I got up this morning and after a big breakfast hit Mary Mumford playground followed by smoothies and some Cary St strolling. We came home, had some lunch, took a rest and then headed out to Belle Isle (see the pics here). After Belle Isle, we went over to Stoney Point to play in the fountain and eat burritos. Now it's snow cone time and Charlotte's Web :)

We're off to Camden, NJ in August

So Live Nation and Nissan Pavillion offered us tickets to the Radiohead show in NJ... So we took those. Yay!! Jersey!!! wait a sec... Jersey?

Yes, I got hosed...

Scott and I got to circle the venue for about 3 hours in hurricane weather... exactly what radiohead wanted.

That's Liam and Kylie, John and Adrianna's daughter. We rode the bikes over to Byrd park to throw frisbee and fly a kite. We topped the evening off with smoothies.
